Peak Tree Consulting Ltd is an independent specialist arboricultural consultancy based on the edge of the Peak District. Working mainly in Derbyshire, and surrounding counties.

We specialise in tree surveying, assessment and developing management strategies with an emphasis on veteran tree management.

Peak Tree Consultancy is closed to new work  at present but will be back in 2026.

Monica Gillespie,  the owner  and  Principal Arboricultural Consultant  is currently taking a sabbatical to further explore her particular interest in veteran and ancient trees.  

She will be taking this time to deepen her knowledge of tree ecology and further progress

her earlier work  on the conservation value of deadwood and veteran trees for saproxylic species wood pasture sites in Derbyshire.
